About
I’ve been on the internet for over 15 years, back when the Word Wide Web was just a little baby, and you had to use things like ftp, telnet, Usenet and gopher to make any use of it. I’ve contributed to a lot of discussions over the years, and my commentary has been spread far and wide, from Usenet newsgroups, to comments about articles on news sites, and most ubiquitously, the modern discussion forum.
I decided to finally create a blog for myself, a good couple of years behind the fad curve, as a place to collect my comments together – for my sake more than anything else. If I happen to post anything particularly insightful on other sites (or even merely long-winded), I will likely bring the discussion here as well, to keep a record “in my possession” as it were.
I’ve also found myself wanting to discuss various things that I couldn’t find a forum for. Up until this point, my discussion has been limited to what was presented to me by various sites that I frequent, forcing me to be reactionary. This blog will allow me discuss what I want, when I want.
I don’t plan to update with any frequency, nor do I expect people to subscribe to or visit my blog regularly.
I would like to thank Sunaryo Hadi for his InBiz theme, which I have slightly tweaked to my preferences.
